Olivia Normile - I am an emerging artist based in Dublin, working with sculpture, drawing and film. My films are short and presented as loops within installations in conjunction with sculpture and drawings. My sculptural work is often inspired by theatre, sci-fi or story-telling. Currently, my work considers wonder and deep time, past mythology and imagined worlds, the inner and outer environment, memories within and without. Alongside my practice I am an arts facilitator for Dun-Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and other independent groups. This year I was commissioned by Superprojects to create a series of workshops in response to The Record Keepers, by Barbara Knežević, an exhibition for children at Cabra Library commissioned by Dublin City Libraries and Arts Office.
